The Bomb-Maker is Separating Friendly Bombs in the Air

A group of bombs are dividing in the air heading to different targets in the Middle East.

The bomb-maker is having a spiritual awakening, primarily because business is, quite literally, booming. In the high cathedrals of glass and steel in Arlington and Haifa, the “creation business" has never been more divine. While the old gods, Yahweh, Allah, and the various iterations of the Orthodox and Catholic Trinity, are invoked to justify the carnage, the actual deities of 2026 don’t require prayer. They require purchase orders.

These modern Olympians are currently “blessing" the human family, from schools in Gaza and residential blocks in Kharkiv to the luxury hotels of Dubai, with the gift of rapid unscheduled disassembly. It’s the gods’ favorite game: War. And the liturgy is written in the smoke of 155mm shells and the hum of loitering munitions.

The geography of this “dark magic" is expansive. The “Family of Bombs" (a darkly accurate term for weapon systems like the Small Diameter Bomb II) is currently on a world tour, with sold-out shows in Eastern Europe, the Levant, and the Persian Gulf. Even the forgotten valleys of Afghanistan and the rugged borders of Azerbaijan have felt the touch of these metal messiahs. But as the smoke clears, the question remains: Who is the “Maker" behind the curtain? Who is reaping the tithes of this explosive era?

The Pantheon of Profit

The list of these corporate deities is as dense as the Hindu pantheon, but a few “High Priests" dominate the 2026 landscape:

  • RTX (formerly Raytheon): The God of the Intercept. If you want to stop a missile, you pay the RTX tax. Their Patriot and Iron Dome systems (jointly produced with Israel) are the only things keeping the “Old Gods" from meeting their makers prematurely. In 2025 alone, RTX saw record-breaking backlogs as the U.S. and its allies scrambled to replenish stocks depleted by the drone swarms of the Middle East.

  • Elbit Systems: The Israeli High Priest of the Drone. Elbit doesn't just make weapons; they make “battlefield intelligence." Their Hermes drones are the omnipresent eyes in the sky over Lebanon and Gaza. As of 2026, their order book is overflowing, bolstered by a world that has realized that cheap drones are the new infantry.

  • Lockheed Martin: The Zeus of the sky. Their F-35 lightning bolts are the ultimate status symbol for any nation-state looking to project “divine" authority over their neighbors.

  • Rheinmetall: The European Vulcan. As the Russia-Ukraine war grinds into its fourth year, this German titan has become the primary blacksmith for the continent, turning “Never Again" into “How Many Rounds per Minute?"
