Life Lessons from Kash Patel

Kash Patel life advise.

The foundation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is built on three clear pillars, or at least, the new versions of them: Fidelity to the current president over the Constitution; the Bravery to purge veteran agents; and an Integrity that prioritizes the “sobriety" of leadership while respecting the bottomless pit of public funds. In theory, anyone joining this federal agency is bound by the rule of law and a commitment to the country, possessing the stamina of a bull and the unwavering resolve to always do the right thing. If this sounds less like a job description and more like a slogan for a high-end rehab center or a motivational poster in a dark government basement, that’s because, in the current era, it is.

To see these pillars in action, or rather, in traction, one must look at the current FBI Director, Kash Patel. A lawyer of Indian descent whose family fled Uganda during the Idi Amin regime, Patel presents the ultimate "MAGA profile." Appointed by Donald “War Starter" Trump, Patel was hailed as a loyalist capable of steering the agency toward the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) new vision of national security. However, mounting questions regarding his integrity are beginning to reveal the true nature of his role.

In the modern landscape, the FBI is tasked with managing two critical fronts: terrorism and cyberterrorism, alongside the rising tide of mass shootings, drug trafficking, and human trafficking. Instead of tackling these crises, Patel has spent his tenure enjoying the spoils of serving Donald “The Hidden Files" Trump. It appears the Director's primary function is not to protect civilians, but to shield the President’s extracurricular activities. From this, we can derive a series of “Life Lessons" from Patel for anyone looking to climb the ladder of power as he did:

  • Lesson 1: Loyalty is the only key to success, even when the crimes are committed by those signing your checks.

  • Lesson 2: If you are part of the government, all state-funded transportation, including the FBI’s private jets, is at your personal disposal.

  • Lesson 3: Discard your roots and mirror the current government's ideology to avoid the very deportation machine you are helping to fuel.

  • Lesson 4: Always hydrate with beer during major national events, and ensure you do it directly in front of the cameras.

  • Lesson 5: Render yourself deaf and blind to any injustice provoked by your own administration.

While the nation edges toward open conflict in the Middle East, the FBI Director’s public composure should, ideally, be that of a sober and serious statesman. Instead, we see Patel on national television partying like a 21-year-old at the Milan Winter Olympics, celebrating a hockey gold medal while his own agency conducts illegal ICE raids and bombs burst over foreign homes. If the head of the FBI can “whoop it up" in a beer-soaked locker room while the world burns, the lesson is clear: Why should the rest of us bother with gravity?
