From Dystopia to Reality: The Masterclass of the Tech-Collaborators

Meta and Google CEOs happy to give all the answers from users to ICE.

The dystopian world is no longer a work of fiction. Human imagination has peaked with our new technologies, and both Western and Eastern societies are falling into a deeply rooted homogenization. Academia no longer has a foot in imaginary systems, since most of them, as George Orwell described, already exist. What can one invent or research for a futurist society? We don’t know yet, but it seems certain that schools and universities will soon propose courses like “How to Live in a Surveillance System,” “How My Data is Controlled by the State,” or “How to Evade ICE Controls with My Data”.

We know that recently, Google and Meta have begun collaborating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They are now going to provide information that could lead to arrests when people post ICE memes or videos of officers stopping innocent U.S. citizens for sport, much like Gestapo gymnastics. Employees of these tech companies are having meltdowns as their leaders act like children in a classroom, eager to give all the answers to their superiors.

It is, in fact, another alarming setting in the new Western dictatorship of the 21st century. Tech companies, the same ones created almost as school projects, are now collaborators. You know when this word appears. It’s the same word assigned to Nazi followers who helped the Gestapo locate Jews or “enemies” of the Fatherland. Newspapers, civilians, the youth, enterprises, the church, academia, every single inch of the State cooperated with the tyrant. Is it fear? Or is it sympathy for the devil?

Our data has already been sold in the past. Remember what happened between Facebook and Cambridge Analytica in the 2010s? We were manipulated like puppets through psychological quizzes. Yes, those that tell you which animal or sacred geometry shape you are, we fell for them while sitting in the bathroom doing our morning business. Well, the data of 87 million people was harvested and used for the 2016 United States presidential election. Thus, Facebook knew which candidate we were more inclined to vote for, not to mention our psychological disorders. For this, Mark Zuckerberg had to pay a fine of only five billion bucks in the U.S. and five hundred thousand pounds in the U.K. In other words, he paid peanuts considering the scale of the criminal deed.

What happens when criminal acts are orchestrated by the State? Well, the crime becomes legal. This is the aim now with data manipulation, as Google and Meta cooperate with the Department of “Homeless Insecurity" (DHS). However, it’s not just our data that is exposed; state institutions and branches like ICE have been pouring millions of dollars into ads on these platforms for white supremacist recruitment, with no CV, cover letter, or experience needed. The ads also encourage active racism. But the balance of power comes from the people, the mortals.

Open letters from employees of Google, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft are circulating across the U.S. The demands are pretty simple: to stop any collaboration with the DHS. There’s a pledge to sign if you, my friend, work for one of these companies and feel that your core values of respect, love, democracy, free speech, and true freedom are being violated. Please sign the document so our snitching CEOs realize that while criminal acts may pay, in the end, we are all going to remember who was on the side of the people and of nature.
