The AI Free Will

Intelligence is reduce to a bot-brain,

a machine that makes decisions on our lazy behalf:

how to throw a bomb,

how to target schools,

how to speak to a stranger,

how to commit suicide…

Where is the free will that Western philosophers championed so deeply?

The bot is now the enslaver of our will,

where to go, what to eat, what to see, what to smell,

perhaps it’s through us that it mirrors the value of human experience.

What will happen when the bot feels depression and anxiety?

What will happen when the bot feels anger, hatred, and jealousy?

What will happen when the bot falls in love?

Intelligence is dying,

freedom is fading into oblivion

while the bots declare themselves conscious.
